The Prime Minister launched scathing attacks on the opposition even in the final moments before departing for Kanyakumari, where he will meditate until the evening of June 1. The 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign, spanning 70 intense days, has concluded. This high-energy campaign saw ideological clashes, leaders exchanging sharp accusations, and parties vying with promises and incentives.Speaking in Punjab, the Prime Minister evoked the pain of Partition, criticizing the Congress for failing to secure Kartarpur Sahib, now in Pakistan. He also censured the Aam Aadmi Party, currently governing Punjab, for being part of the INDIA Bloc. The Congress countered fiercely. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accused PM Modi of lowering the dignity of the office with divisive speeches. Singh emphasized that during his decade-long tenure, he never prioritized any community over others. Singh denied this assertion, condemning Modi’s speeches as the most vicious and divisive in nature.
