The Prime Minister launched scathing attacks on the opposition even in the final moments before departing for Kanyakumari, where he will meditate until the evening of June 1. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh accused PM Modi of lowering the dignity of the office with divisive speeches. Singh emphasized that during his decade-long tenure, he never prioritized any community over others. The BJP, in turn, accused the Congress of appeasement politics, highlighting a controversial claim that Singh had stated minorities and Muslims had the first right to the country’s resources.
