The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a complimentary tele-counselling service designed to assist students and parents in managing exam-related stress. This initiative is a part of CBSE’s comprehensive efforts to promote mental well-being among students during the critical examination period.

Acknowledging the stress that both students and parents experience following board exams, CBSE has launched a free, week-long tele-counselling service to alleviate result-related anxiety. This service, available 24/7 until May 21st, can be accessed via a toll-free number provided on the CBSE website.

For the past 26 years, this annual program has connected individuals in need with a team of 65 professionals. This extensive team comprises principals, counsellors, special educators, and psychologists. The goal of CBSE through this continuous support is to equip students and parents with the tools needed to handle exam stress and process the results in a healthy manner.
