Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat Loses

Harish Rawat who was leading the election campaign from Congress in Uttarakhand loses from Lalkuwa Assembly. He was initially trailing but ultimately lost with 14,000 votes. He was the Congress Chief Minister’s face in Uttarakhand. He was defeated by BJP’s Mohan Bisht.

However, his daughter Anupama Rawat is leading from the Haridwar Rural Assembly seat. This will be Harish Rawat’s fourth loss in a row.
