Ukrainian Soldier Blows Himself, Destroys Bridge To Stop Russian Advance

An Ukrainian soldier blew himself up in order to destroy a bridge and delay Russian forces from traveling in from Crimea. The war hero according to the Ukraine military was Skakun Volodymyrovych,who went forward to detonate the bridge. He had no time to escape and blew himself in the process.

“The bridge was mined, but he didn’t manage to get away from there,” said the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
