International Yoga Summit 2021 celebrated by Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Academy.

A seven-day long program to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsava organized by Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Academy concluded that saw more than 150 Participants from across the globe in virtual mode.They participated in Yogasana competition and Webinar on the theme ‘Application of Yoga in Daily Life’.

The Summit addressed the world for Yoga to be the guiding principle for the future of human civilization. As expressed by the speakers, it will help to develop a balanced life for every professional by improving the quality and standard of life. Distinguished academicians, yoga experts and top executives from round the world shared their wisdom regarding the role of yoga in daily life.

Its inaugural session was addressed by Prof G Panda, H.H. Swami Bramhanishtananda Saraswati, Dr. Deba Prasad Dash, Dr. Adrish Brahmadatta, Kanchana Tatipigiri, Dr. P Singh,Sri Suresh Chandra Mahapatra and Pranta Pradhan.

In the Yogasana Competition, KK Reddy and Debjeet Singh in the Kids Group, D Reddy and Dibvyansu Swain in the Junior Group, Chaitanya Tripathy and Recky Prava Ray in the Youth Group and Pramod Behera and Nageswar Rao in the Adult Group bagged the first and the second positions respectively. Similarly, in the webinar on ‘Application of Yoga in Daily Life’ Dishashree Swain and Namith Tatipigari (California) in the Junior Group, Akhil Gupta and Sasmita Mishra in the Senior Group bagged the first and second prizes respectively.

HH Swami Samarpanananda Giri, Vice President, Pragyan Mission, Puri, Mr. Shiraj Ramachandran, CEO, Stratcon, Consulting LLC, Muscat, Oman, Miss Jenny and Mrs. Joom Joom from Thailand invoked its valedictory session and presented on how to inculcate a balanced life through Yoga in Daily Life.

Dr. Prasant Kumar Pradhan (IAS Retd), Director & President, SYVA, Dr. Prasant Kumar Acharya, Principal, SYVA, Dr. Dinesh Prasad Swain, Sri Sri University and the faculty members of SYVA like Baijayanti Dash, Devjani, Usantilata Hota and Prafulla Kumar Behera had contributed towards making the programme a success.
