2993 New Covid-19 Cases, Khordha Tops The list With 606 Tally

Bhubaneswar : As many as 2993 persons tested positive for Covid-19 on August 22 in Odisha, the health department said on Sunday.

When 1879 cases were reported from quarantine centres, 1114 were local contacts.

The corona tally reached 78,530 in the state with detection of the new cases.
