241 Post PG Doctors Deployed By Odisha Govt

Bhubaneswar : With the COVID-19 positive cases continuing to rise in the state, the government has appointed post-graduate doctors of different medical colleges in the hospitals in the districts.

According to a Health and Family Welfare department order, 225 In-Service PG doctors and 252 PG doctors from different medical colleges and hospitals in the state have been requisitioned and placed with the various districts CDMOs for COVID-19 duty.

The requisition has been made to further strengthen the manpower in the hospitals to fight against the pandemic for 3 months or further order, the department stated.
