Odisha Govt Deploys 241 PG Doctors On COVID-19 Duty In Districts

Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Thursday deployed 241 Post Graduate doctors from three Government Medical Colleges (VIMSAR Burla, SCB Cuttack and MKCG Berhampur) at different districts on special duty.

According to a notification issued by the Health and Family Welfare Department, the services of these PG doctors have been placed under the disposal of the respective CDM & PHOs for smooth management of COVID-19.

The 241 doctors from the aforementioned medical college and hospitals (MCHs) have been deployed at: Angul, Bolangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Jagasinghpur, Jajpur, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Kendrapada, Keonjhar, Khurda, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Puri, Rayagada, Sambalpur and Sundergarh.
