Flight With Odia Evacuees From Bahrain Set To Land In BBSR

Bhubaneswar : A special flight carrying stranded Odias is scheduled to leave Bahrain International Airport to Bhubaneswar today afternoon.

Because of COVID-19 pandemic, many people working in Bahrain were stranded due to suspension of flight operations. This special Air India flight under Vande Bharat Mission came brought the much-needed relief for the stranded Odias.

President of Bahrain Odia Samaj Tapan Mishra expressed his deep sense of gratitude to Government of India, Government of Odisha and the Indian Embassy in Bahrain for facilitating the return of the stranded expatriates.

The flight will leave Bahrain at 1:05 pm.
