Staffers Urge Odisha Minister Not To open colleges from June 17

Bhubaneswar: All Odisha College Teachers’ And Employees’ United Forum today met Higher Education Minister Arun Kumar Sahoo and urged him not to reopen colleges from June 17.

The forum said that the rapid spread of the Pandemic COVID-19 in our State is at its peak and cause of concern for everyone. It has now endangered a scary atmosphere across the State. So, accordingly, your high office has closed down all educational institutions in the state up to 31st July.

They said more than 400 Colleges are functioning as COVID quarantine centre. Most of the principals and staffs are assigned with duty as COVID warriors. Many teachers and employees are also engaged in evaluation works of Universities and CHSE at present. Apart from that, all colleges are also doing their normal official works as wanted by our departments.
