Ashwini Hospital Conducts Successful Neurosurgery On Covid +Ve Patient

Cuttack : The Neurosurgery team of Ashwini Covid Hospital, Cuttack has successfully conducted an emergency lifesaving surgery on a Covid positive patient.

Sharing the information on its official Twitter handle, the Health & Family Welfare Department has congratulated the team for its professional excellence.

Worth mentioning Ashwini Covid Hospital is one of the designated Covid hospitals of the State, sponsored by Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC).

It was the first Covid Hospital in the State wherein a critically ill Covid patient recovered after being administered with plasma therapy.

Under convalescent plasma therapy, critically ill Covid patients are administered with plasma donated by recovered Covid positive patients.
