The 2nd edition of BJEM MUN (Model United Nations) was inaugurated with much pomp and enthusiasm in BJEM School premises.
Attending the inaugural session as Chief Guest, Minister of Tourism and Culture, Ashok Chandra Panda highlighted that such Model United Nations Conference will ignite young minds in order to play a pivotal role in establishment of peace and harmony in the world.
In the afternoon session, Chetan Bhagat, eminent Indian author and motivational speaker enlightened the participating delegates in a Live Talk show.
Mr. Bhagat, while interacting with students urged them to set a goal from early stage of life and to stay focused on it. He also advised them to follow more than one role model for strengthening personality. “Read enjoyable books to build concentration”, he responded to a student’s query.
The conference featuring 800 delegates has been scheduled to discuss lots of burning global issues and their solutions for three days.
The interactive session was attended by Mr. P. K. Jena, Manager, Ms. Sandhya Jena, Principal, Devnandan Mohapatra, DG, BJEM MUN, Manish Banerjee,
Secretary General, management members and the faculty members of the school.
