Bhubaneswar : School teachers across Odisha will now undergo online training for five days starting from August 4, informed Odisha School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
He added that two teachers from 101 previously announced schools of excellence will be selected. The teachers will undergo training for two hours every day for five days. The step was taken to improve the overall score of students and pass percentage across the State.
Dash added that a training camp will be set-up consisting of a principal from each of 30 districts. The camp will be inaugurated on August 4.
Also, he will soon be interacting over video conference with principals of those schools who had a zero result this year. A total of 31 such schools have been identified. The minister said that the discussion will be based on the school’s strength, students’ backgrounds and the probable lacunae behind such disappointing results.
