The Supreme Court of India is set to hear a plea today that seeks to cancel the NEET 2024 examination. The plea questions the validity of the NEET UG results and will be addressed by the special Vacation Bench of the Supreme Court. Allegations include inflated marks, with 67 candidates reportedly securing NEET UG 2024 AIR 1, six of whom are from the same exam center in Haryana.To address these concerns, the NTA has formed a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) comprising examination and academic experts to look into the issues reported at several exam centers on June 5, 2024. Additionally, the Ministry of Education has set up a committee to review the grace marks awarded to over 1,500 candidates.Despite the demands for cancellation and re-examination, the NTA has denied any claims of paper leaks or exam discrepancies.
