The BJP is intensifying its campaign efforts with a series of rallies led by prominent figures. Odisha BJP’s vice-president Golak Mohapatra announced on Tuesday that Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and actor Arun Govil, famed for his portrayal of Lord Ram in the iconic TV series ‘Ramayan,’ will be joining the campaign trail.
Arun Govil is set to arrive in Odisha on May 22, Wednesday. His schedule includes addressing public meetings in Champua, Telkoi, Bhubaneswar, and Dhenkanal.
On May 23, Thursday, the BJP’s campaign in Odisha will see the participation of three-star campaigners holding rallies across the state simultaneously.
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath will be canvassing for votes in the Chilika and Salipur Assembly constituencies after arriving on Thursday.
Additionally, BJP National President JP Nadda will be returning to Odisha for a series of rallies. His campaign trail includes stops at Karinjia, Dhamnagar, Barchana, and Balikuda.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is also slated to join the campaign on Thursday. He will be attending public meetings in Deogarh, Barbil, Choudwar, and Badamba.
The third phase of Odisha’s elections will take place on May 25, covering six Lok Sabha constituencies and the 42 Assembly constituencies within them.
