According to reports, the social media trinity Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp have been down. Facebook and Instagram have been down after the 60 minutes segment with employee and whistleblower Frances Haugen who talked about Facebook turning off the safeguards designed to control spread of misinformation in a money making move. This led to the deadly invasion of the U.S. Capitol.
