The Odisha government announced on Saturday announced new unlock guidelines that are to be effective from the 1st of August.
The state government has decided to continue with the weekend shutdown in the districts of Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar. Meanwhile, Night curfew will remain effective from 8pm to 6am across the state in the month of August.
During the unlock period all kinds of malls, shops and shall remain open across the state. While in the districts of Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Puri, adults will require to procure their final vaccination certificate before entering into malls, or cinema halls.
Here is the list of activities allowed during the unlock:
-Sea Beaches and Parks.
-All Aahar Kendras with on spot eating
-Malls with regulated number of customers
-All cinema halls, theaters, assembly halls with 50% seating capacity
-Street food vendors with spot on eating
-Inter state and Intra State buses
-Jatra and open air theaters
-Marriages with restrictions
-Educational Institutions
-Museums, zoos and tourist places
-Two wheeler with pillion rider and four wheelers, auto rickshaws, taxis, including cabs/ auto rickshaws by aggregators like Ola, Uber etc. are allowed with seating capacity only.
Here is a list of activities that are prohibited:
-All religious, political and cultural gatherings are prohibited
-Exhibitions, Trade fairs and Melas are prohibited
