Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra has reportedly tied the knot with senior BJD leader and four time MP of Puri, Pinaki Misra on May 3 in Germany.
Photos sourced by Telegraph showed Mishra holds hands with Moitra wearing gold jewellery and smiling.
Moitra, known for her fiery speeches in Parliament, was elected twice from Krishnanagar seat of West Bengal. During her first term as MP, she was disqualified over “cash-for-query” allegations.
Misra began his political career with the Indian National Congress, securing his first victory from the Puri Lok Sabha constituency in 1996. He later joined Naveen Patnaik’s Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and has been re-elected multiple times in 2009, 2014 and 2019.
Neither Moitra, Misra, nor their parties have confirmed the marriage.
