These Hotels In Bhubaneswar To Provide Accommodation To Exam Candidates

Bhubaneswar: Odisha government has asked State Hotel and Restaurant Association and other such local bodies to make arrangements to provide accommodation to the candidates appearing JEE (Main) & NEET (UG) examination.

Odisha Tourism director Sachin R Jadhav in a letter to the chairman of Hotel and Restaurant Association of Odisha, presidents of Hotel Association of Puri, Sambalpur and Rourkela has asked them to keep open their hotels for lodging and boarding purposes.

Meanwhile, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has come up with special arrangements for the smooth conduct of entrance examination during COVID-19.

The city administration has geared up to provide all facilities for smooth conduct of the IIT-JEE Mains examination in Bhubaneswar from September 1 to September 6 at six centres, while accommodation will be provided at eight centres. However, all these will be in sync with a strict COVID-19 Protocol with respect to sanitation, physical distancing and avoiding crowding near the examination centres.

The JEE(Main) is scheduled to be held from Septemeber 1 to 6.
