The second phase of elections has over in Odisha. Yesterday by 5 PM, the voter turnout in the state reached 60.55%, with the highest turnout in the Sonepur assembly constituency at 71.35%, and the lowest in the Surada assembly constituency at 47.80%.
According to officials, by 1 PM, the voter turnout was recorded at 35.31% across five Lok Sabha and 35 assembly constituencies in Odisha on Monday. This figure rose to 48.95% by 3 PM.
In the second phase of elections, voters will determine the fate of candidates in five Lok Sabha constituencies: Aska, Bargarh, Bolangir, Kandhamal, and Sundargarh. A total of 265 candidates are competing in 35 assembly constituencies in this second phase of the Odisha Elections 2024.
By 5 PM, the average voter turnout was recorded at 60.55% yesterday. The total for the Lok Sabha constituencies was 55.65% in Aska, 66.14% in Bargarh, 61.35% in Bolangir, 57.46% in Kandhamal, and 61.53% in Sundargarh.
