The Southwest Monsoon has advanced into several parts of Odisha, along with Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, and others. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates further progression into additional regions including North Arabian Sea, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and more parts of Odisha and Bihar over the next few days.Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds up to 30-40 kmph are expected in multiple districts of Odisha, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, and Puri, among others. Similar weather conditions are likely to persist in various districts over the coming days, with isolated thunderstorms predicted in specific districts like Sundargarh and Keonjhar on June 22.The IMD also forecasts hot and humid weather in select districts on specified dates. While no further weather warnings are issued, light to moderate rainfall may occur intermittently across the state. Additionally, the IMD expects a gradual decrease in daytime temperatures by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next three days, with stability thereafter.
