The Southwest Monsoon has arrived in Odisha, four days ahead of schedule, as reported by the Bhubaneswar regional centre of IMD on Saturday. It has reached parts of Malkangiri district. The monsoon began in Kerala on June 5 and has since advanced across the entire south Arabian Sea, portions of the central Arabian Sea, Lakshadweep, Kerala, coastal and southern interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and parts of the Bay of Bengal.
