New Delhi / Puri : As Odisha keenly waits for the Supreme Court orders on Rath Yatra, top State Government officials have rushed to camp at Puri. Amidst the ongoing developments, Shree Jagannath Temple Administration office has become the seat of action.
SJTA Chief Administrator, Dr Krishan Kumar held a meeting of all line departments and directed the officials to be prepared. Chief Secretary and DG Police will be arriving here at any moment and they will also review the prepared ness, Kumar said.
“All the relevant departments have apprised us that they are ready with micro plans. We as a team are prepared to carry out the orders (of the Supreme Court) effectively,” Kumar said.
Collector Balwant Singh said, there was a meeting with the line departments on sanitation, drainage, I and PR, police and fire services. All the departments are ready with advance planing. Whatever be the decision, the district administration is prepared, he said.
Singh added that today evening there will be a meeting of the Shree Jagannath Temple Managing Committee and Chhatisa Nijog.
A senior Minister is also likely to arrive in Puri to take stock of the situation and arrangements, as Puri prepares for the Rath Yatra tomorrow.
