Senior Congress leader and former minister Dambarudhar Ulaka has passed away. He was 87 years old and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Bhubaneswar. He had been unwell for some time.
He represented the Congress as a seven-time MLA. Additionally, he held ministerial positions in various departments such as Home, Forest, Environment, Urban Development, and Water and Sanitation. During his last moments, he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and wife. Reportedly, initially, his mortal remains will be taken to the Congress Bhavan in Bhubaneswar, followed by his residence in Bankili, Kolonara Block, Rayagada district.
