Bhubaneswar : Mrs. Soma Mondal, Director (Commercial), SAIL has been selected as the first woman Chairperson of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on August 10, 2020. As many as six persons were interviewed for the same.
She is from Bhubaneswar. She studied at BJB Autonomous College and then NIT Rourkela, Odisha. Before joining SAIL she was working at NALCO.
