An Odisha TV reporter passes away in an unfortunate accident near Mundali, Cuttack on Friday. Arindam Das, prominently known for his excellent ground reports during disasters was on an ODRAF boat that went to rescue an elephant. The boat overturned and all the members including the two media personnel fell out. They were then immediately rushed to the SCB Medical but could not make it.
