New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched a technology platform named ‘Champions’ to help the smaller MSMEs by solving their grievances, encouraging and supporting them to march into the big league as national and global companies.
As the name suggests, the portal is basically a technology-packed control room-cum-management information system.In addition to ICT tools including telephone, internet and video conference, the system is enabled by Artificial Intelligence, data analytics and machine learning.
The main goals of champion are:
👉🏻 To resolve the problems of MSMEs, including those of finance, raw materials, labour, regulatory permissions, etc particularly in the Covid created difficult situation.
👉🏻 To help them capture new opportunities, including manufacturing of medical equipment and accessories like PPEs, masks.
👉🏻 To identify and encourage them to became national and international champion.
