Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Puri today to conduct a roadshow in early morning as part of the ongoing Lok Sabha and Assembly election campaigns. The event results to significant turnout, with BJP candidate from Puri, Sambit Patra, accompanying the Prime Minister.Later, PM Modi is scheduled to address two rallies in the state. At 9:30 AM, he will speak at a public meeting in Angul, followed by another rally in Cuttack at 11:30 AM. After his engagements in Odisha, he will travel to West Bengal to hold an election rally in Jhargram.Security measures have been tightened by the Commissionerate Police in anticipation of the Prime Minister’s visit. In addition to the rallies, PM Modi will also participate in a review meeting with BJP leaders. The elections in this region are scheduled for May 25th. Notably, Sambit Patra faced defeat in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
