Bhubaneswar : After seeing the massive damage to electrical infrastructure during natural calamities, Odisha Government will soon develop disaster resilient infrastructure in power sector in coastal districts of the state.
A meeting was held today in which the Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy reviewed the project .
In the first phase, the infrastructures will be developed in Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore at a project cost of Rs 11,000 crore. In the second phase, the project will be carried out in districts like Puri, Cuttack, Khordha, Ganjam and Gajapati districts at a cost of Rs 8,000 crore.
The Chief Secretary today directed the department concerned and power distribution companies to carry out the work on a war-footing basis.
