Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has announced that all government officials will not be granted leave until June 30. A letter from the General Administration & Public Grievances Department has been issued to all senior officials, including Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Commissioner-cum-Secretaries, Heads of Departments, and Collectors & DMs.The letter states that officials are not allowed to take leave or leave their Headquarters, even on public holidays, except for health reasons. This decision comes in light of the upcoming swearing-in ceremony of the new Council of Ministers on June 12, 2024, and the subsequent activities expected with the new government’s assumption of office.
