Bhubaneswar : The overall flood situation is expected to improve as there has been a drop in the inflow of water into Hirakud dam, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) said on Sunday.
In a tweet, SRC Pradeep Jena informed, “Inflow into Hirakud has started showing a decline from 4 am today. Hopefully it will reduce further.”
As per Jena, the expected peak flood flow will be around 10 lakh cusecs at Mundali which may continue for a day till tomorrow forenoon due to continuous high inflow for long duration from Chhattisgarh.
