Odisha Cabinet Approves 22 Proposals,CS Asit Tripathy Briefs

Bhubaneswar : Odisha Cabinet approves 22 proposals in its meeting chaired by CM Naveen Patnaik; Chief Secy Asit Tripathy briefs media.

👉All tourism projects including hotels, restaurants will get land from IDCO.

👉Undergraduate courses agriculture and allied have been given professional degree courses.

👉Contract farming has been legalized and farmers’ interest will be given safeguard. Odisha Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1956 has been replaced. Farmers can directly contact buyers and sell their produces.

👉Aska Co-operative Sugar Industries Ltd has been given a guarantee of Rs 15 crore to avail cash credit loan. Aska Co-op Central Bank has already drawn the amount. Cabinet today gave post facto nod.

👉OREDA has been transferred to Energy department for better management of renewable sources of power to draw better projects and investment.

👉 Cabinet approves certain administrative steps for better implementation of Society Registration Act 1860: (1)Online renewal for societies (2) Audit (3)An institution of Civil Judge to be created to adjudicate differences among members of the Society.

👉 Odisha Cabinet decides to take only ₹1 as rent/cess from Kendriya Vidyalayas & Jawahar Nabodoya Vidyalayas in State which will encourage them to set up more schools in Odisha.

👉 State Cabinet has approved a proposal for setting up a NDRF permanent company headquarters on 3.50 acre land near PD village under Sadar tehsil of Balasore district.

👉State Cabinet has granted permission to allow workers to work 115 hours overtime in 3 months. Women workers can now be engaged in all small and large scale industries. Odisha govt has finalised detail guidelines for their safety and security during night hours.

👉 As per chief Secretary Asit Tripathy Council of Ministers approved Special Livelihood Intervention Plan where in Odisha Govt will spend ₹17000-crore from June 2020 to March 2021. This Livelihood plan will be implemented in rural areas as the public health crisis has triggered an economic crisis.

👉 RD Dept OAS posts have been increased from 996 to 1188.

👉A medical park in Dhenkanal and a textile park at Dhamara in Bhadrak will be set up.

👉Surveillance for COVID19 will be done at ward levels in both rural and urban areas
