The Bharatiya Janata Party is set to reveal its legislative leader in Odisha, leading to the appointment of the new Chief Minister. With Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram being excluded due to their roles in the Union Cabinet, other names in consideration include state president Manmohan Samal, former state chief Suresh Pujari, ex-Gujarat cadre IAS officer Girish Murmu, Lok Sabha MPs Baijayant Jay Panda and Pratap Sarangi, and senior MLA KV Singh Deo. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh and Bhupender Yadav are overseeing the selection process. The swearing-in ceremony is slated for tomorrow, June 12, at 5 PM, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance.
