Bhubaneswar : As part of the last leg of their final journeys the mortal remains of the two brave soldiers killed by Chinese troops in a clash in Ladakh on Monday, reached their respective native villages. The mortal remains will be cremated with full state and military honours after being taken out in a procession.
Chandrakant Pradhan (28) from Biarpanga village in Raikia block of Kandhamal and Nanduram Soren (42) of Badachampauda village in Rairangpur block of Mayurbhanj gave the supreme sacrifice for the nation during the clash with Chinese soldiers at Eastern Ladakh.
After the dignitaries paid their tribute, the bodies were then sent to their respective villages by special ambulances.
