Bhubaneswar : The total number of Covid-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 4338 with the addition of 175 new cases in the last 24 hours, the State Information and Public Relations Department informed on Wednesday.
Of the total cases detected today, 145 were reported from various quarantine centres where returnees from other states are lodged while the remaining 30 cases were local contacts.
Gajapati reported highest 57 cases followed by Khurda (25), Puri (18) and Bargarh (11). Kandhamal and Jagatsinghpur accounted for seven cases each, Balasore 6, five cases each in Sundargarh and Mayurbhanj, Nuapada 4, three cases each in Bolangir and Cuttack, one case each in Ganjam, Kendrapada, Jharsuguda.
