The day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a grand roadshow in Bhubaneswar, he is scheduled to address three public gatherings in Odisha today. The first rally is slated for Kandhamal at 9:30 AM, followed by another in Bolangir at 11:30 AM, and the third in Bargarh at 1:00 PM. Odisha will witness simultaneous Lok Sabha and assembly elections in four phases, commencing on May 13.

During the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections on May 13, polling will take place in four constituencies in Odisha, including Kalahandi, Berhampur, Nabarangpur (ST), and Koraput (ST).

Previously, PM Modi visited Odisha on May 6, addressing two public meetings in Nabarangpur and Berhampur. In 2019, PM Modi conducted a similar roadshow in Bhubaneswar ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

On May 10, the PM held a roadshow in Bhubaneswar, starting from the BJP’s state headquarters near Sri Ram Mandir and concluding at Vani Vihar Square. The roadshow drew a large crowd, with people cheering for the prime minister and displaying cutouts of the BJP’s lotus symbol as PM Modi greeted them from his open jeep.

Accompanying PM Modi during the roadshow were Odisha BJP president Manmohan Samal and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha BJP candidate Aparajita Sarangi.

During the event, PM Modi emphasized the deep emotional connection the people of Odisha have developed with the saffron party. He expressed confidence that they would vote to ensure the party’s victory in the state, indicating a sense of disconnect with the current BJD government.
