Bhubaneswar : Mechanism for time-bound online delivery of public services in a transparent manner under the 5T framework has been fast tracked in Odisha.
On an average, 52 % of so far prioritized 223 services (of various departments) under 5T framework have been made online.
This was revealed during a department-wise review of 21 major departments by Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy in this connection, said an official press release.
Tripathy checked on the progress made and challenges faced by the departments.
Available data show that all the five services indentified in Steel & Mines department have been made online, all 12 services identified in social security and empowerment of persons with disability have been made online, and, all 03 services in Women and Child Development department have been made online.
Similarly, in Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water department 13 services have been made online out of 19 identified, in Excise department 09 services have been put online out of 13 identified, in Women & Child Development department 02 services have been put online out of 03 identified, in Revenue & Disaster Management department 24 services have been put online out of 32 services, and, in Urban & Housing Development 14 services have been made online out of 24 identified services.
The process for putting the balance services online has been brought to advanced stages by the respective departments.
He also directed the departments to ensure online delivery of all payments and benefits so that people are not required to run to Government offices at different levels.
The issues relating to E-Muster roll application for tracking online payment if wage was also discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was held on digitized mode through OSWAS platform connected to all departments.
Development Commissioner Suresh Chandra Mohapatra, Additional Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena along with Principal Secretary and Secretaries of concerned departments participated in the meeting.
