Is This The End Of Road For Congress?

Share the news

In the 2022 Assembly Elections, as per early trends, the BJP takes the lead In Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur while the Aam Admi Party sweeps it’s victory in Punjab, it looks like the ending for the Indian National Congress which was the single largest opposition party in India.

The Congress relentlessly campaigned in Uttar Pradesh with all big shots bringing in new slogans and campaigning with new ideas. While at the same time, the party showcased Charanjit Channi as the CM for the people in Punjab but he is trailing in both the seats he contested for. It will not be wrong to say that Punjab was a safe niche for Congress but it has slipped away to the Aam Admi Party.

The Congress is slowly losing it’s face and what will happen in 2024 is a big question mark. As for it to reclaim it’s position, these elections were extremely important. While Yogi supporters insist that he might be a contender for Prime Minister ship in 2024 and the Aam Admi Party is fighting to make it’s mark nationwide, the future of Congress looks not very bright. But in politics, nothing is indeed predictable.

Uttar Pradesh was indeed important for Congress and that’s where they focused the most, but the results are indeed disappointing where it’s hardly leading in four seats as per the early trends. The veteran party indeed needs to reshuffle it’s election strategies and campaigning objectives if it is actually looking for bringing a change in 2024.
