New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has appealed to the Odias staying abroad that they should create a new image of Odisha on the world forum.
Interacting with Odias living in ten European countries such as France, UK, Portugal, Sweden, Germany, Russia, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, and Spain, Pradhan said Odisha is a predominantly agriculture state. He urged the Odias to take necessary measures for promoting the agricultural products in the world market during this hour of juncture which is hit by the deadly coronavirus.
The Union Minister urged the non-resident Odias to flourish traded and commerce in the state by implementing new technologies. The 21st century will bring new opportunities for India as well as Odisha, the minister said and added that as the Centre has started unlocking, it is the right time to explore new avenues of employment.
