Bhubaneswar, June 11: A delegation from the Odisha BJP met with Governor Raghubar Das on Tuesday to stake their claim to form the next government in the state.Following his election as the leader of the BJP legislature party by the newly elected MLAs, Mohan Charan Majhi, along with the newly elected BJP MLAs, visited the Raj Bhawan to meet the Governor. They formally staked their claim to form the government.Mohan Majhi, the CM designate, submitted a letter to the Governor requesting permission for the BJP to form the Odisha Cabinet.“We met the Governor and presented the letter electing me as the leader of the BJP legislature party. The new council of ministers will be sworn in on June 12,” Majhi informed reporters.
