The severe cyclonic storm ‘Asani’ has now weakened into a cyclonic storm and is likely to move north-westwards with a speed of 12 kmph as informed by the Indian Meteorological Department on Wednesday.

About 50 NDRF teams have been deployed along side the coasts of Bengal, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh.
