The Aam Aadmi Party is set to come to power in Punjab as predicted by almost all exit polls. The exit polls suggest that AAP is going to emerge victorious by gaining almost 40 percent of the vote share. This comes a day before the result declaration in Punjab.

The Chief Ministerial Bhagwant Mann who previously was a comic and known actor in Punjab was attacked by rivals for his drinking habits. However, the party supremo Arvind Kejriwal defended him and said he is a changed man now and would work for the betterment of Punjab.
