Cuttack : Four police officers from Odisha are among the 121 police personnel who have been awarded the “Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation” for the year 2020, informed PIB in Odisha through a tweet.
Out of the four from Odisha two are women.
The awardees from Odisha are Sushma Tirkey, Sub Inspector; Jugal Kishore Dash, Sub Inspector; Santoshi Barik, Sub Inspector and Baba Shankar Saraf, Sub Inspector.
This medal was constituted in 2018 with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognize such Excellence in Investigation by investigating officers.
