Bhubaneswar : Commissioner Police on Saturday arrested three persons for looting gold ornaments from a woman police officer in Bhubaneswar on July 26.
Three youths have been arrested including mastermind Manua on charges of looting gold ornaments from Vigilance DSP Tanuja Mohanty at gunpoint, said a police official.
Mohanty was sweeping front yard of her government residence at Unit – III here on July 26 morning when two bike-borne youth approached her and looted gold chain, earrings and bangles threatening her at gunpoint.
Mohanty immediately reported the matter to Kharavela Nagar police. Police had launched a probe into the matter and managed to arrested three youths today.
