Bhubaneswar : As many as 1528 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 47,455, informed the Government.
While 948 cases have been reported from different quarantine centres, remaining 580 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The fresh cases have been reported from 29 districts with Ganjam witnessing highest 233 cases followed by Khordha (218) and Sambalpur (168).
