Bhubaneswar : Contact tracing time will be minimised now in the capital city with a total of 15 Rapid Response Teams (RRTs) under the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation.
Anu Garg, Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development Department and COVID Observer for Bhubaneswar, today informed that there were 9 RRTs already working within the BMC corporation area for the COVID-19 tracing in order to fight the epidemic and help more and more people recover from the tentacles of the Corona attack.
These 15 dedicated teams are specifically working towards contact tracing and patient shifting work across various hospitals, COVID care centres and home isolation cases. It can be stated that the RRTs constitute health-care experts from Community Medicine and AYUSH.
Meanwhile, the testing for COVID-19 pandemic has gone up in the city and today more than 1,400 tests were conducted.
